How is this going to work? Obviously if you're playing online with a band that you created, you're gonna want to talk to the people you're playing with.

But there in lies the problem: The USB ports are used up. The mic is taking up my headset plug in! How can we speak and hear each other?

I'd like to be able to have conversations, and most importantly, be able to talk about what songs we want to play and etc.

Anyone have ideas of how they're going about this? I don't want to try to type with the drum pads

I'm pretty sure that i heard that theres a usb port that plugs into the drums. But tough to say what way they will including talking, yet another interesting feature that were all dying to see about the online part of the game.

Well, I would assume the singer would just use his mic, possibly having his bandmates' voices coming from the speakers.
And perhaps all the instruments have a headphone jack.

I'm not sure. This is one of my worries as well.

Hmm, now that you mention it. The XB headset CAN plug into the Xplorer. Perhaps there is a jack input on the Fender we didn't notice and on the drums!

Ya i think that answers it..... sounds like an easy solution.

Only the singer can talk. The rest of the players have to wail on their instruments to communicate. It'll take a lot of practice but I think it'll work.

This would be the easiest and most reasonable thing to do. I hope they do that, because there's a good chance 2 of my 4 band members are gonna be, oh, 3-4 states away.

Even though communication through wailing instruments would be interesting...:D

I would love Keyboard and Mic Support While Picking a Song with Your Bandmates but during The Song I expect just to Hear the Song

Well, the singer can at least yell at his bandmates' ****ty playing during the freeform parts, right?

Dunno why but communicating while having weekly practice/jam sessions make me giddy.

Oh my god, that's exactly what I thought of when I read the other guy's post. As for my thoughts on the issue, I think whoever has a microphone or headset would talk through that and you would hear everyone else through the tv's speakers.
