well idk if i'm doing this right cuz i've never made a thread with a poll but whatever. point is frank zappa is THE great american song writer and briefly browsing through this forum i see hardly any mention of him. frank zappa from the start of his career to even years after his death released many many great and essential albums. now since this section is for adding songs i gotta ask who else is a zappa fan and thinks that at least one damn zappa song belongs in rock band. i can name many songs that would most definitely make for awesome fun songs to play, and i think they should add at least one zappa song

i agree with you 100% and think that it would be a sin not to put at least one zappa song in this game. if you're reading this harmonix, I've got two words for ya FRANK ZAPPA :cool:

As a longtime Zappa fan, I definetely believe that Frank should be included in Rock Band. For his music, for his lyrics, for his talent, for the way he stood up for the industry.

As for what songs...

Dynamo hum
Bobby brown

Any of them would be great.

Zappa would be an excellent way to introduce freeform to the player (if they're gonna have guitar freeform or not, I really have no idea. I've only heard there'd be singing and drums, but I never heard for or against guitar/bass freeforming)

And if there's no guitar freeforming, the tracks themselves would still be great enough.


I'd love to see two Zappa tracks, though. One of his regular songs so I can do my Frank Zappa voice, and Willie the Pimp so I can do my Beefheart impression.

nah my internet has slowed down a lot and has become almost unusable. that and school started so i don't have much time for the internetz. oh yeah and not to mention i got an external hard drive so i've been moving all 136 gigs of my muzak which apparently takes a very very LOOOONG time
