this is not really true, on medium setting you need 400 stars to open up the hall of fame, which is like 8 songs which all have the big finale endings except for the last song which is wont get fooled again, then you need to get to 600 stars to open up the endless set list. i did this for medium, so i dont know if you need more stars for the higher difficulties.

I call BS since we didn't get the Hall-o-Fame gig till after we had 450 stars and we were on medium. I remember because I looked at our star count and we were at 446, we 4 stared and 3 stared our 2 song random set then after we exited the set we got the HOF invite.

450 for Hall of Fame, 600 for Endless Setlist. What difficulty you play on doesn't matter since its the same requirements for all levels.

I would assume that having a PR Firm, Groupies, etc... also play into this.

My band currently sits with over 1,000 stars and over 8million fans, yet we've got no invite to the HoF. Of course, we still haven't even gone for the Jet yet. ;) (We're trying to beat "sections" of the game, before continuing on.)

Have any 4 man bands finished the endless setlist?

Our goal is to finish it in Hard difficulty as I think it would actually be nigh impossible to do a 4-man expert 58 song set, unless you want an exercise in futility.

Sure, lots of 4-person bands have finished it on Expert. Some have even posted screenshots here in the forums.
