Sure can! You can play with 2, 3 or 4 players. Quick tip: If you are not a real drummer set the guitar as the band leader because you may end up stuck;)

thx a lot I needed to be sure :)
And btw one more thing is the guitar really crappy?? cause I wouldn't want to buy the game if the guitar is going to break after a week lol (same w the drums)

You only need two instruments to play World Tour, and you only need one for single player.
Though if you have a 360, all the GH guitars should work, so if you find one for cheap go for it.

Guitar Hero is dead, forget about it.
THe answer is yes, you dont need 2 guitars to play, but in order to get really high band scores 4 players are required.

I think you're missing something important. If you don't have a bassist, who will become the butt of the jokes for your band? Probably the drummer, and then when he bursts into flame you're stuck with an egomaniacal guitarist and a narcissistic vocalist, and that's just a bad combo. Like mixing matter and anti-matter, but with more hair pulling.
The only true answer is to have a bassist. It helps when it's also your token hot chick.

Not true.
My 2 player band is ranked 6th on X-Box leaderboards The Meadows Burn !
My 1 player band is ranked 62 and climbing! HotMaMa 74
You can sooooo kick butt with 2 instruments if you know what you're doing:cool:
