Machinehead would be a good addition to your list. They are one of the best metal bands out now. Just check out their last 2 cds. Maybe another Lamb of God song like ruin or hourglass

lamb of god blow, but i agree with you on machinehead (well maybe not the one of the best metal bands). the blackening has some pretty greats songs, but idk if it would go well with rock band. when i think rock band i think full scale bands. while i love sabbath and the song paranoid, the drums are too mediocre on that track for it to be fully enjoyable by all "band" members and i think machinehead will pose the same problem.
