This thread wasn't ment to be serious. There is nothing the mods can really do about repeat questions as there are new players getting the game everyday and have the same questions we did when we first got the game.

I am sorry to say this is all crap. You are obviously a xbox 360 owner who does not play the drums, certainly not on expert, who never had an issue with your guitar, and if you did got it replaced immediately. While i agree that sometimes people need to do some research and reading before posting, I feel extremely bad for Europeans who can't play yet, drummers who truly need two bass pedals to replicate songs where the drummer used two base pedals, people who can't get their guitars replaced or have had them replaced six times, and PS3 owners who are at one of many disadvantages to Xbox owners, I am a ps3 owner by the way.

The questions may be valid (an issue up for debate), but they're certainly rarely posed in the proper manner, and the frequency is unnecessarily high.

Unfortunately, people are too stupid (impatient?) to use their ability to read.

The Canadian release date was a perfect example of that.

You'd be correct on that bet, simply because I haven't waltzed over to pick up a PS3 yet (waiting to see how this rumoured price drop pans out), but I'd love to hear from you why that matters. :)

Because no matter how you look at it Xbox 360 owners have the advantage. I will not state that all of the faults are on HMX but most are.
PS3 has to wait til thursday while Xbox doesn't. (Sonys fault)
PS3 has one guitar because of the GH3 controller B.S., also PS3 has to wait even longer now for another guitar.

Double bass pedal represents a non-unified Rock Band experience, which is totally un-Rock Band. If you want to build a double pedal then go search "double bass circuit" on the scorehero hardware forums, build that circuit, and go to town. HMX is not going to start coding extra notes into the song just so 5% with the Metal music hardware addon can play the left foot notes.

"Where's my DLC?" is always so ignorant and ego-centric it makes me mad. Rock Band does a good job of making a diverse music selection and they are getting around to everyone eventually. Respect diversity or GTFO.

I find problems with hardware more legitimate threads as something is wrong that should be right. Not everyone is aware of how well known certain problems are when they post. Any modding thread gets a serious thumbsup from me, hopefully they keep it well organized in a few threads instead of 100.

The "HMX sucks" rants are usually baseless, over-entitled, and unhelpful and should be ignored.

Release date stuff I would be more angry about but seriously HMX hasn't given this info out so I can sympathize.

But I have a friend who does, and my brother can on a few songs. And I will tell you this, a song that the performer has two base pedals, is next to impossible to even look at being conceivable to do. I in fact agree with the two base pedal idea.

I've played the game all left footed (or "goofey footed" for you fellow snowboarders) and I've had no problems playing the bass drum parts because of which foot I use.

Well, let's see.

a) I don't have a Guitar Hero 3 guitar. I bought two bundles and split the second with a friend to get a second guitar. I have two friends locally with PS3s that intend on picking up the game, so multiple guitars are a non-issue for me.

b) I work Tuesday nights, and am (generally) out with friends all day Wednesday. The first time I really get to sit down with new Rock Band DLC content is on Thursday afternoons, so not being able to download new songs until this point wouldn't really be a huge problem to me. As a matter of fact I may as well just start doing that, because it's a pain to drag my 360 across the house (something I wouldn't need to do with a PS3 thanks to the built-in wireless) to download a couple of songs and then have to drag it back into the living room before I leave for work.

c) As a savvy and well-informed gamer I'm well aware of how OXM's "exclusivity" works (even before I was a 360 owner), so I have no concerns about now being able to play three bonus songs.

d) I'm not part of the ADHD generation that would have a fit over a few seconds worth of lag on menus -- oh and hey, I get to sit through a few seconds to a minute of "loading additional content" every time I switch a profile, but I'm not really impatient enough to give a damn about it.

So, again, what does me being a 360 owner have to do with anything?

The rest of the issues are fairly inane and I still maintain that the 'average Joe' is either too stupid or too impatient to do a little bit of reading to see that their question has been already been asked, often many times and often in a more polite and proper fashion.

European release date? Legitimate question that has been answered many times: the date is not yet determined. The Canadian release date was never "officially announced" (although certainly implied by the use of a North American release date) and I was pissed off at the level of patience and maturity shown by my countrymen, so I see no reason why I shouldn't feel the same way about people across the pond.

Double bass pedal? None of the songs need it, and thus there is no real reason to release one. There are plenty of workarounds in place, some more functional than others, but you can make your own with a Y splitter and a second pedal (how you acquire the second pedal is something I leave to you).

*****ing about the GH3 guitar not working? Considering someone seems to come in every second day and post Activision's response, someone should be aware of this, but Activision is engaging in a cockblock of epic proportions as, despite rolling in their Scrooge McDuck money bin after liberal milking of the Tony Hawk, Guitar Hero, and Call of Duty franchises, they feel they need to be compensated for the use of their technology, as though the end user paying for their piece of plastic isn't compensation enough. You can quote me on that.

People wondering why they can't create characters/download songs on the PS2 version and feeling they were cheated have unfortunately failed to do a little thing called research on their product. I have no sympathy for these people.

Tech support problems (strum bars, etc)? There's a forum for that. It's called Tech Support, and if people weren't too stupid or too impatient to read as is my belief, they could find it before coming in here and posting a nice exclamation point filled rant asking why their strum bar doesn't work when they tried to play by punching it with their big meaty fist.

There's a whole forum for suggesting songs, and for many of the same reasons those threads end up here.

Modding threads I'm not really that sick of, especially since they seem mostly contained to a single repeatedly bumped thread. I am sick of people trying to peddle their wares.

That's how I feel about the whole thing, as a Wii60 owner (and soon to be PSWii60 owner, DAMN YOU DISGAEA 3).
