Ok so i beat vocal career on medium and the final song is listed Foreplay/Longtime. But shouldn't it just be Long Time as the whole of Foreplay is sliced off, or am i just a Boston n00b?

i wasn't aware that they take out "foreplay" for solo vocals.. i'm sure it's just that the game lists it as "Foreplay/Long Time" so they just keep the titles the same in every mode

yeah i wished there was an option to choose to have the whole song or not. they also trim off green grass and high tides as well as train kept on rollin (which i have no clue why they did that)

I don't get why you would want to do that.

All three songs have giant segments cut where you would get to spend a lot of time hitting the microphone over and over and over and over and over and over. :)

But how hard would it to take off "foreplay/" in vocal career, tug-of-war, and score duel.

Because technically, you Ain't singing Foreplay. Heck, i'd pay money to see someone sing Foreplay! lol

Most precisely it would be "Foreplay / Long Time (Abridged)" or "Long Time (Abridged)".

I had no idea that the game did this for songs with long periods of inactivity for the vocalist. It would require a lot of foresight be the game developers to think "Hey, when the vocalist sings this in solo tour, it's just going to be Long Time, should we have a different display name for it?" I don't begrudge them not having that amount of foresight.

From a game dev's point of view, you're playing a part of a game level, and the game level has a name.

I first realized this when I sat down to have a drink.. thinking I got a couple minutes after doing this in BWT first. No no, I was wrong. Yea a few songs are little cut for the "I just sit here and enjoy the music" moments. I guess looking at it, sitting there replaying that intro over and over when attempting to redo or get more points would prove irritating. Anywho an option would be nice, but now I know. I caught it in other songs too as mentioned. But seriously nothing is better then the last line of Green Grass High Tides when my friends have to play for a couple minutes and I go make a sandwhich.... there are times the cowbell ain't worth it.
