I wonder if there are any plans for instrumental tracks. I would kill for Orion by Metallica and Coast to Coast by the Scorpions just popped up on my playlist. Anyone else have any good instrumental suggestions?

Instrumentals, eh?

I would suggest stuff from

Steve Vai,
Joe Satriani,
Yngwie Malmsteen
Paul Gilbert
Tony Macalpine
Dream Theater (yea it has vocals, but some of their songs are like 90% instrumental!)

There is more of course, but I think that is a good list!

It would be a waste of programming time.

Without vocals, it would just be Guitar hero with drums.

With the majority of rock songs containing vocals, there are plenty of great songs to choose from to offer as DLC.

Dont expect it to ever happen.

Lemme guess, you can't sing.

Uh, no, withouth vocals, it's ROCK BAND without vocals, there are still 3 other instruments. And there are actual rock bands that have instrumental tracks.

And since when does wanting to play an instrumental track mean I can't sing? Relax. Lemme guess, you were beaten as a child.

They plan on putting video game songs into this game, so I don't see the issue with putting instrumentals into this game. Some rock bands, with singers have pure instrumental tracks.

I don't see the issue.
