Sorry but what Exactly is PAX? and will more info be announed then?

Sorry, but i've heard it refered to in some posts, but not quite sure what it is. is it some gaming expo or something where the game is going to be displayed? and if it is going to be displayed there, is there a chance that we might see some more info about the game like details or songs realesed there? cause after all this GH3 news and the announcement of "one" today by metallica in GH3, im dying for rock band news

PAX is the Penny Arcade Expo

I believe it's August 25-26th or something, but that weekend at least. It's in Seattle, WA.

Penny Arcade, to my knowledge, does comics and stuff. I guess they have a tight relationship with Harmonix and the Rock Band project.

There was a big thread talking about it, but I guess Rock Band will be publicly demo'd for anyone to play.

Heh, you got that right. Here's a quote from the Penny-Arcade page updated today:

"Harmonix wanted to know if they could store their Rock Band instruments and software here at the office before PAX. We agreed, perhaps too quickly. "

I think they'll probably have a couple more songs added to the E3 demo they showed.
