I was wondering that myself earlier today. I want to play All Along the Watchtower and Fire in Rock Band. Spanish Castle Magic was in GH 1 though.

Minor trivia, the GH1 version of Spanish Castle Magic was an instumental because the family didn't want Jimi's voice impersonated.

Those first two songs were exactly the ones I was thinking of. Fire would be especially awesome, especially for bass (of all things).

Who owns the right to the songs If Harmonix Goes directly to record Company that owns the right to the song they could just Cover it and not even mention Hendrix. Instead of Putting "As made famous by" they'll just put the name of the actual artist performing the cover.

my understanding is that The Hendrix family owns the rights to the songs. There is no record company to go through, no other way to get masters of his songs except through the family(which is a business called "Experiencing Hendrix"..not just some family members saying no, you can't have his songs)
