heavy metal as a whole is heavily influenced by classical music. hell, the rock band Yes even has a classical piano song on one of their albums.

Definitely, I think that's why I like metal so much. But it's still funny how modern music just re-uses a lot of the same song structures.. I think that is what I was getting at.

That was absolutely genius, though the funniest line was definitely "and the 2nd Violins would get lovely melodies, which should not happen." Excellent find.

Haha, awesome find. I was expecting yet ANOTHER Canon Rock. I mean, it's fun to play and all, it just gets old seeing 500 people play it, thinking they're guitar masters, even though it's an easy as hell song.
