Its Dated As August 3rd so I Dont Think its Old , Did you Read Game is Completed on All Major Systems! they are Just Fixing the Bugs and Kinks :D Isn't That Great :D

great news about finishing up. it would be cool if they released it a little earlier than planned(before gh3...?) but it would be best for them to take their time with bugs.

I've been doing lots of work around the house and yard to get any bit of cash I can. If you are really desperate, beg your mom to go halves with you. That way all you need is about $100.

The halves thing works.. I've done it before.. but for Rock Band.. I'm going to be earning some money soon.. I'm moving in a couple weeks or so.. and my parents are going to need a lot of help.. I'm going to be doing some stuff.. and hopefully get enough for Rock Band..

If Rock Band is released before GH3, you can pretty much say bye bye to GHIII's sales in their early release period.

My Birthday is the 7th of Nov 1 day after the scheduled release, alas I have my own job and parents don't pay for anything but food anymore

man, I really hope it comes out before november.. thing is - if there's one thing I ask of you guys harmonix, DON'T let it be street dated. It is by far the most annoying thing ever when a product is sitting in the back of the store for two weeks only to not be sold, but a few lucky jerks find it some place to buy earlier from a store that sliped up, or store managers that don't follow rules sneak it out, while all the true fans wait and sigh.

Rock Band will certainly be street-dated, because of the logistics involved in shipping all of those bulky peripherals out to retail.

If you don't streetdate, then you get Best Buy *****ing because some Walmart locations were able to sell for a couple of days before they even got their stock. And you don't want to piss off your retailers.

Streetdating lets everyone accumulate inventory for a week while they get drum kits and guitars out to the stores, and then be able to compete fairly on launch day.

Yeah I agree, even though I'll order online, 9/10 times I get my stuff a day before launch anyway.

A rhythm game has never won Best of Show from the Game Critics Association, wow thats amazing, great job Harmonix! I cannot wait for this game to come out, I'm so glad it is nearing completion, I wish it would release earlier, but I don't think it will, I think we are looking at a November release.

I think the award was like the "Martin Scorsese - The Departed" thing. It's was like a way of recognizing that HMX has been the leading force in innovative rythm based games, despite ever really getting any industry recognition.
