I think Rock Band should have some Disturbed or Linkin Park songs. I know that Linkin Park wasn't the most requested song in Guitar Hero 2, but they have to give it a chance on THIS game. Trogdor was a horrible song for Guitar Hero 2. It was screamo, made by some dude who created Homestarrunner, and it's very short, but now I'm getting into GUitar Hero 2. This game needs to take some crazy chances and see what people think about there being a Linkin Park song. What KIND of song do you ask? Probably What I've Done. It's got good vocals,and great drums. Or maybe Pieces. it's got a really kick-ass solo and it could bew different from the other songs.

Above we have witnessed the beloved "no offense" phrase. I think that insulting somebody's taste in music is an offensive act despite your claim.

But that aside, I enjoy listening to Linkin Park's music but I don't think it would make a good fit in Rock Band. Linkin Park's music often features simple, repetitive guitar riffs and some electronic beats. While I don't think that a Linkin Park song should make it into Rock Band's main game, I would enjoy the option of downloading a song or two to play. I don't care much for Disturbed so I doubt I would pay money to play any of their songs in the event that they are offered.

Linkin Park may not be a great band but they do have their fair share of fans. Personally, I don't think its too bad of an idea to include one of their songs. If you think about it, if one of their songs is included the you don't have to worry about their fans posting on the RB or GH forums asking/begging for them again. Plus, if the song was DLC, you could choose whether or not you want to play it.

Besides, its not like everyone loves every band thats in the game, anyhow.

I was offending the band more than the listeners,

I respect people's taste in music but I feel that some bands out there are pathetic, especially in comparison to the 70's, What I wouldnt give to be alive back then

I just find it sad how it takes like 10 guys (I bet someones going to correct me) to make one song, and theres like 2 vocalist and like 4 guitars, etc

frank zappa probably had like at least 6 guys in his band while blasting out some of the most essential, creative, and purely ingenius albums ever.

I cant respect a band with a buttload of members who can barely make a song,

Theres alot of great bands out there with fewer members that can make better songs

I would expect things to be better coming from more people

but hey we're all entitled to our opinion, and I dont want to get into a forum flame war about which bands are better,

so I dont like linkin park but I dont mind if its in the game or anything,
