View Full Version : Another request for more Female Rockers!!!
I figured starting a new thread would get more attention from the powers that be!
Maybe my age is showing, but where on earth are the song-packs from Fleetwood Mac or Heart?!?!?! You cannot properly represent 70's rock without either of them.
Would also love to see Alanis Morissette in there, though they may be difficult to sing. (not that it stopped you from putting difficult-to-sing songs in, ie Danni California was particularly challenging)
Thanks very much!

Belly is a great band from the 90s with a female vocalist!

I am 42 and love this game. I am also a real musician and sound engineer and I play live gigs. There are so many great "Classic Rock" songs overlooked. Everything else comes from those roots. Where are Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, Pat Benatar ?????. There are almost no female rockers in this game. In addition to that, there are so many classic rock bands that are not represented here. The "founders of the faith" as it were. I keep up with all the latest music trends becasue I work in the industry, but you have to admit, most classic rock is better for gameplay. The songs have a melody, harmony and a big ass ending. Much of the new rock is very redundant, boring and has no big ending to "smash your guitar" on. You know, a lot of the endings are very anti-climatic. Let's get some more "ROCK ROOTS" back in this game. Guitar Hero has done a better job with this than ROCK BAND. After all, people my age grew up on video games and I have owned every systems since video games began. (My real abilities include playing guitar, keyboards, singing and working as a sound engineer in a recording studio)

I agree with this thread. I'd to see some Avril Lavign, or some Evanessence, or some Nightwish.
