The FAQs say that the X-Plorer controller as well as a few 3rd Party "instruments" can be used with rock band but will later red octane controllers be usable and will these be of the same quality. I have had problems with the X-Plorer controller alot of features not only are clumsy for lefty players but disable parts of the game. I know a very large majority of guitar players are right handed(so am i actually) and play left hand-frets and right hand-pick(i dont). But it would it be such a risky move to make a guitar controller where the strap fits and the wire isnt tangling your strumming for players regardless of how they play? Im not asking for a left handed controller because all the other features would probably be overlooked and be hard to use all together and probably not profitable. Another rant with the X-Plorer is it has poor voice quality on xbox live. Many times in chat with someone, whether myself, the person im talking to, or both of us are using the guitar, the voices become unclear, start to echo, or just become loud static. Sometimes the cord or strap of the controller will force the mic to fall out. I hope these problem will be takin into consideration when making a rockband and/or gh controller

I agree with you the x-plorer had a lot of problems, I'm fairly confident with the shape and style of both the les paul and the strat, a lot of these problems will be fixed. Plus this time around these controllers will most likely be wireless, so you shouldn't have a problem getting it tangled, and lefty flip will most likely be as comfortable as with the SG, so most likely the only annoying part will be the wammy bar.
