I think this might be a fun little diversion, and I'm tired, so I decided to start this thread where people try to predict what seriously is going to be on the final setlist of the game. I made this assuming that there'd be 8 songs per decade, and I'm too lazy to write in the announced songs.

60s:
White Room by Cream
Peace Frog by The Doors
House of the Rising Sun by Animals
A song by the Velvet Underground
A song by the Rolling Stones
A song by The Allman Brothers Band
A song by Deep Purple
Some kind of surf rock

70s:
A song by Led Zeppelin
Either American Woman by The Guess Who, a song by Heart, or a song by AC/DC

80s:
Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne
Paradise City by GNR
A song by Joan Jett
A song by Van Halen
A song by Slayer
A song by Queen
The Majesty of Rock by Spinal Tap
If they pick an AC/DC song from the 80s, I don't know which one to drop.

90s:
Paranoid Android by Radiohead
A song by Primus or RHCP (for bass)
Alive by Pearl Jam, a song by Soundgarden, some britpop song (I'm really not sure which.)

00s:
Joker and the Thief by Wolfmother
I Believe in a Thing Called Love by The Darkness
A song by Flyleaf (I don't really know Flyleaf, so I'm of no help here.)
Some song by MCR (I know they suck, but they could do worse.)
A song by Tool
I want to try and fit the Hell Song on here, but I can't think of what to get rid of.

I'd call this a pretty realistic guess for what could be in the game, and I think it'd be pretty cool. Also, before you start, I'd expect a bunch of crazy, too hard for the main game metal in the bonus song list.

Crap, it's hard to narrow an entire decade down to 8 songs. I'm aware that the 80s section completely sucks, I'll come up with something better in the morning.

There's alot of good Pink Floyd stuff in the 70's, but that may be a bit unrealistic because of liscencing.

This list seems very close to what I'd expect from the game.

I'm surprised to not see Queen in there. I think Queen is pretty much a given. God knows what song they'd use though.

I'd say that list looks realistic. And it's a pretty good one too.

i agree with the guy above me, looks realistic...but maybe not exactly what i would have wanted, but a good list tough..

I replaced some songs, I think it's a little better now.

unfortunately, that's probably what it will end up being.

Well, I hope your Radiohead, Tool and Wolfmother projections are right. :)

I like your 60s picks.
