Only suggesting one song

I'm only suggesting one song because all the other topics have great songs in them. I think we need a song that will actually test the stamina of the people playing.

For that reason I think it would be awesome to have In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida by Iron Butterfly on Rock Band.

If you want to require great endurance you might as well just ask them to put in a Doom/Funeral/Drone Metal song.

That would kick ass. Make the complaints about Red Lottery, which I still insist is an awesome song, seem meaningless next to the grandeur of a 50 minute Sunn0))) song.

yah if you want to make people not like your game i could understand putting something like that in.

part of the reason me and my friends like the game so much is its an easy pickup-and-play game.

that, and what if your going for a 100% of the song and you miss a note or key 25% of the way through a 30 minute song. your gonna get some very colorful hatemail.

Of which song do you speak? Sunn is good, but the problem is that drone-doom is less reliant on actual instrumentation, this making it somewhat pointless in an instrument based game, no? Drone-doom is about as useful to Rock Band as Burzum's Rundgang Um Die Transzendentale Saule Der Singularitat which clocks in at 25 minutes but is mostly ambience... The occasional Varg vocals, of course.

What about putting a really long song in bonus? Couldn't be worse than Jordan... I'd rather have really uber long than so fast you can't make it through the second or third solo. Tis something to think about.

If you want a long song, why don't you tell harmonix to put the real version of Jessica from GH2. It's a fun song to play and it is long; it will also give your singer a rest, or make him play the keyboard.
