broken equipment

Wow, Everytime i get the urge to go buy this game i read many more complaints of faulty drums, guitars etc....

I just read a post how this guy is on his 4th guitar and 2nd drumset....Thats crazy...Has everyone had a problem with the equipment? It seems no one is safe...It happens to everyone....From what i'm reading, it probably has a 90% breakage rate...Whether it be the guitar or the drums breaking...

I thought because its been a few months since launch, the hardware would have gotten better....As much as i want this game, i guess i will wait until better equipment comes out...

It just urks me that right out of the box it may not work and then i have to start sending this crap back and forth just to play....

That was the reason i was asking. And i am not bashing the game. I love the game and have played it a few times over a friends...I was just asking if everyone had a problem at one time or another with the equipment...even thought they bought it months after the launch...

Never bashed the game....I think this is the best multiplayer experience with friends and even just playing by yourself..

I got mine on release. Everything works fine. However, make sure you get a newer model guitar, the older ones kinda suck for using overdrive (I'll be selling mine in a month anyway to upgrade to wireless, so I don't mind).

How will i know what guitar i get until i open the box and then its too late?

Yeah, equipment is pretty bad... they could have spent the extra money to make crap that didn't break.... but oh well.
