Strange things are happening

So recently when I've decided to play Band Quickplay online, I can't hear one of the other players parts (like I'm playing guitar and I cant hear the drums), but we dont fail or anything like that. It's like this. I played Maps online. There's the part in the beginning where there's only drums. There was no sound being played, and I couldn't see the other guy hitting notes like I normally could, and he wouldn't fail. The same thing happened just now when I was playing Dani California and I was playing Bass. I could hear my part, the drums and the singing just fine, but no guitar. Why is this happening?

I've had that happen to me too. I think it's just lag, but I can't be sure.

But does it happen to you throughout the whole song? Then when the song ends it shows that the guy actually was playing by showing his percentage?

Yes, throughout the whole song, and then I see their percentage at the end. It's very frustrating since I can't see them playing, I have no idea when they hit overdrive to maximize the score AND (more importantly) the song sounds terrible without the drums.

I've mentioned it before after having it happen to me twice in one night. Someone explained to me that it's a lag issue called "ghosting". It's only on your end, the guy is actually playing and it's only you that's not seeing it.
