wanna freeplay your drums? here's how!

Go to andrewrudson.com

Connect your drumkit to your PC. And jam out! you can program each pad and the pedal too with differnt drums. I just did it and it's alot of fun.

how do you connect pc to drums, i plug the drums into a usb and nothing pops up, then i go to open program, and it says my drums arent connected

you have to download the xbox360 controler driver. go to andrewrudson.com and there is a link to it in the FAQs

Really cause their is a million ways I think now to play drums on Pc the best so far is using a program called joy2key imo and Flstudio.

whatever. if you notice at the first post i said i wasnt sure if this was old news. ive been coming here daily for a few weeks now and never saw any post about this. And i did do a search. I have seen plenty of topics about "I wish there was a freeplay" and nobody ever brought this up, that i saw. And i was one that also wanted freeplay.

I just found out about this tonight and figured i would make a topic about it cause others would want to know.

It's 'freeplay' alright... its also laggy as hell and basically impossible to keep a decent beat going due to that fact. Good concept but unless they can fix the lag its pretty much just fluff.

IF they fix it... Then I'm finding a way to hook that sucker up to Reason :D

Thank you! I also thought it was a good topic, cause if i havent heard of it, im sure there are others that havent either. Not everyone on these forums have been here since day 1....
