Ive been in groups where I get 98%+ and the people leave for some reason.

I had a night of bad luck, where for like an hour, I would join a band, we'd do one song, good or bad, and then leader would quit. I wouldn't give up, and it kept happening until I landed in a great band.

Hell, sometimes, I wish the group was just the drummer and me. drummers seem to be less picky about music, and they're usually the leader.

Were you playing substantially better than them? I've had people kick me even though I spent a whole song or two saving them, or preventing them from failing and still scoring >97%.

I can only figure that they were embarrassed, and wanted to get rid of all witnesses to their incompetency.

Run into it myself and came to the same conclusion.

Full bands where they're not all invites just end up being a hassle most of the time on PS3. Voice chat would be a godsend. I also get most value out of drums/one guitar whenever I play with random players. Too many "guitar only" hogs out there.

I have all but a few of the DLC tracks so far (there's not that much music I don't find redeeming qualities in). You can add me (PSN: parodygm) to the add list with pleasure.

I got kicked last night by two "girl" toons (probably dudes). They were playing medium and I was doing expert. We did a few songs and I was getting 98% on Expert guitar/bass while they were mid-80%s on medium for the drums and other guitar/bass.

Maybe they had a friend coming on, as someone else said, or they just got tired of seeing my Expert percentages blowing away their medium percentages.
