I really really like my Guitar Hero black SG, I can't really play any others as well. I got 93% Hangar 18 with it, and about 83% with the red SG... I know they're unrelated pretty much, but the question needs to be asked: Will my GH1 controller work with RB for the PS3? Needs some sort of adaptor.

The GH controllers can't work on the PS3 until they come out with an adapter or something. I think they are making new buttons for the guitar but it's still to early to tell
I'm just wondering if there will ever be an adapter...

The adapters on the market now for USB > PS2 controller slots don't work for the Guitars because it does not have a "PS" button or a dual shock button to activate it. Thus you would need an adapter which did that for you, or an update from Sony. At the moment, I'm still waiting for my adapters for GH 1 & 2. Hopefully Sony will do something to improve this situation so that this would be a possibility, however I thought I remembered a dev mentioning that the RockBand controllers would be different from GH controllers, so it might not be possible at all.

Question for one of the devs though: Is there an adapter that you know of coming out or is anyone working on one yet?

There doesn't even need to be an adapter, all Sony has to do is update the firmware so that you don't have to press the "PS" button when starting up a PS2 game.
actually i my old roommate had an adapter with a ps button on it, and it worked perfectly (for ps2 controllers + DDR mat, didnt test gh controller)

dont remember where he got it from though, possibly best buy? it had a black square box with the 4 lights and a ps button.

No. You're going to want to use the strat at the end of expert anyway.
