man, I've been a fan of Speed Metal Symphony since forever, and I even dig Go Off. but I'd love to see something from SMS in GH or RB, Savage or the Ninja would be rad choices.

obviously playing Friedman/Becker riffs would be fun as hell, so who could deny the awesome. what do you guys think? is it time for Cacophony to be recognised in GHIII or Rock Band?

Incidentally, I agree with you, Friedman and Becker are amazing. Don't remember how good the drums/vocals are, but I'd still want them as DLC at the very least.

the drums and vocals are very minimulist. its all about the guitar with them, which is great for a gh game.

Did you mean me about Herman Li? Cause I never professed to love him, I was just defending his musicianship from some posing ****tard. Jason Becker was a much better guitarist, and Marty Friedman still is.

Herman Li isnt a good guitarist, though. he randomley hammers frets, wow, I can do that too.

Jason Becker would be better than Marty if he had the chance, but due to his circumstances he cant but he still keeps a positive attitude, which I wouldnt. so I respect him with all my being. Jason Becker is an inspiration to humnanity. the man has lost his ability to do anything and hes still happier than a pig in ****. unreal. that dude is a god, not just a guitar, but in life.

as for Marty Friedman, he sorta turned his back on the music he loved which I dont respect, and I didnt respect it with Chuck Schuldner either. its one thing to progress, but dont smack talk the music you wee a big part of, that isnt cool.

Jason Becker truly is an inspiration. He makes me remember that every day I'm alive and able to play guitar is a day that I should be grateful for.

come on, man. Jason Becker played in David Lee Roths band and Marty Friendman was in Megadeth for a decade. I think they're plenty well known...then again, probably not.

I can name every single band member Megadeth has ever had. and I'm sure one of Roth's former guitarist can easily be named by anyone, Steve Vai got his start in that band.

Even in this very forum I've seen someone forget who Highway to Hell is by and think Every Rose Has Its Thorn is by Guns 'n Roses. Those people won't even know who Steve Vai is.

that is funny, I don't know that much about Steve Vai, but I know he's an awesome guitarist, and he pulls funny faces when he plays, love the song he made, where his son speaking inspired him to write it
