Rock Band Freezing

Hey all. Every time I connect to the internet and then play rock band, it freezes up either on the main menu or the loading screen. The entire system locks up. I don't know if its an issue with my PS3, or my connection (I'm using my college connection.) Sony didn't help at all with their response... anyone else have this problem?

Best bet is to try another game and see what happens.
