Placebo for Rockband!!

I really love Placebo. Finally decided to open this thread.

I really want them in the game. I think the song that would work best is "This Picture".
"Bitter End", "Specials Needs" or "Taste in Men" would be cool too!

Probably my favourite song and video by them. The album version has a longer solo btw.

Pure Morning has always been one of my favourites, but it's probably too monotonous to play. Taste in Men I like, Bitter End could be good too.

Yeah, Pure Morning is an awesome song, but it's actually just the same crazy sound that repeats all the time. (It's actually really some kind of sound that the band accidently played in the studio - something like that)

Anyway, I would actually be happy with any song as long as it is Placebo.

Here is Pure Morning btw. (The video even won a grammy or something like that)

I love that video, it's very beautiful.

Sadly a huge amout of songs sound great but would be dull to play. :-/

I was about to suggest the cover "20th century boy", but then I'd rather include the original in the game than the cover.

Im not a big fan of that genre as a matter of fact i dont like it at all.i think its pretty rediculous...emo lol its a laugh.... i like metal..but my neighbor used to listen to this band before he went into the punk scene here in LA and some songs sound really good, i wouldnt mind playing them in Rockband

I love all of those. Well, like I said, I would be happy with any Placebo song. Of course there are some I would prefer (those I mentioned of course), but I like every Placebo song.

I also love Commercial for Levi, but I guess that song would'nt be that great for Rockband.

Hehe, yeah, I love Protege Moi, although I don't like the french language that much. (sorry, had to study it in school :rolleyes: )Well, I guess a non english song won't work with Rockband anyway. Guess I don't have to explain why.

Taste In Men or Special K would do it it for me.
Basicly any Placebo song would do it for me when I think of it...

Given the fact that the game is going out to a kind of wide audience, you'd have to pick one of their bigger singles. One of my favorite Placebo songs is "Drag", but I think it might be too easy a song for a game like this. I'd also like to play "Every Me Every You" or "Special K", as well.

I think of all of those songs, "Special K" has the best balance of guitar, drums, and lyrics for the game, but can you imagine trying to match Brian's nasal whine in the game?

"Special K" is actually the one Placebo song I like the least. Don't get me wrong, I still like it, but I would probably prefer every other song.
"Every me and every you" is definitely the most popular song (also because it was featured in the movie "Cruel Intentions"), but I think it doesn't fit that well in Rockband.

Anyway, as long as Placebo is in the game I would be happy.

I hope they add a Placebo pack as future DLC. Even better would be the 'Once More With Feeling' album, but I doubt that will ever happen.
