How did you get your band name? Inspire the masses!

Given, theres threads on ... what is your band name and such I was curious as to what brought about the wonderful and colorful names that decorate the leader boards.. heck where'd you get your character name?

For me... err my main band was drunk and board and decided using a mixture of leet and semi-normal characters was needed thus F1ZZBIATCH! was born. I have no idea why it was that name, I didn't get there until later. My other bands are just silly one time things to other games or shows we love.

Rockers I have Ash Ketchum... I was gonna make a mario but the hair was an issue and Ash was just lamely easy to do and Kutie Pebbles was off an episode of Parental Control when a girl answered "if you were a cereal what would you name yourself" I know i lack creative ability....

Cocoa Inferno - My wife's band. Like my internet moniker, it's a reference to The Smother's Brothers. This time the track "Chocolate."

Nate Solo and Groovebacca - 'cause my name is Nathan and I'm trying to get through Band World Tour solo doing both guitar and vocals.

Apocalypse Nein - a friend wanted to start a new band and we decided to be from Berlin and do the Death Metal costume look. Band members are "Pain," "Panic," "Pestilence," and "Steve."

My two bands are Malley's Hatchet and Swollen Fisticuffs. Swollen Fisticuffs just came to me while i was making a band quickly so i could have singer and leader. I got Malleys Hatchet after trying to come up with ideas for a band logo. I decided on the shield being held by a horse mounted viking in one of the Molly Hatchet albums. Then i thought i should make a name like Molly Hatchet, and i got Malley's Hatchet.

My one-man band (Guitar + Vocal), Fluxx Capacity (http://www.rockband.com/bands/fluxx_capacity), is named after a brilliant card-game called Fluxx (http://www.wunderland.com/LooneyLabs/Fluxx/Default.html) (I even recreated the logo), and Doctor Emmett L. Brown (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emmett_Brown)'s key component to time travel, the Flux Capacitor (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Lorean_time_machine#Equipment).

I don't remember what my previous name attempts were, but they were obviously already taken.

My other band with the kids is "Sandwiches of Eastern Europe" because we like sandwiches and some intend on visiting Europe one day, and all these conversations took place in a short span of time.

Well let's see.... I have 4 bands with my friends (and none of the band members have anything to do with the band names)

Baby Penguin Massacre: My friend suggested this to me and it cracked me up, so that was our band name

Blind Date With Death: Me and my friends were toying around with names that sounded badass and ridiculous at the same time. My friend suggested Date With Death, then I threw in Double Date With Death. Then my friend tried Blind Date With Death, and we all agreed that it was the best

I Call Shotgun!: First me and my friend were going to call our band "The AK-47s", due to him picking the gun in every game that he plays, but the name was taken. So being as random as I could I chose "Pumas With Shotguns", however, I tired of this name after a couple songs, and wanted to change. Having just played Here It Goes Again by OK Go! I wanted to make a random phrase for the name. So I extended the idea of the Shotguns to "I Call Shotgun!"

Attack of the Popsicles: The name is funny... I also suggested "When Popsicles Attack" but my friend mentioned that that would be the name of a tour.

I'm pretty proud of all 4 names. Out of all the bands, "Blind Date With Death" has been the most succesful, and "I Call Shotgun!" has been the least.

My first band (just me on Guitar and Vocals) was "Hat the Diver", which was named after some Navy-speak I heard in Men of Honor. Apparently it means "Put the helmet on the diver" and they say it in the Navy when they put the helmets on those big diving suits.

Once I moved back in to my campus apartment, we started a three-man band called "Schindler's Lisp", which was just the first name I came up with when our drummer suggested that our name should be a movie title with a funny little twist.

The Hong Kong Dollars came about when my friends, who are part of a productions company called DKH Productions, decided to flip the letters around to spell out "HKD".

HKD is the currency code for the Hong Kong Dollar.
