So i just noticed today that there was this line running along my yellow drumhead. Upon further inspection, it is cracked about halfway across the drum, running right through the middle. It seems to be spreading everywhere now and im not really sure what to do. What upsets me even more is i'm pretty sure one of my roommates did this because i just noticed the crack today and i barely tap the drums when i play. Is this covered in warranty? would it just be better to pop it open and superglue it, then tape it up? Any suggestions or anyone that has experienced this speaking up would be appreciated.

Same thing happened to me. I sent mine back and got a new one. If they give me any problems about it I'm going to fight back.

How long ago did you send it in? Could you let me know how it goes? I dont want to get a new set, send mine back and have them charge me 125 dollars because its not under warranty.

Same here, yellow head is cracked down the middle i didn't notice it for what i assume is awhile because the rubber coating is starting to separate on the head. I called them and thier sending me a new set no problem. they really stand behind thier product.
P.S. Tom Petty is manditory for DL.

To confirm what House said, It's not unusual for the heads to crack, especially with the EL models. They won't give you any grief when you RMA it (assuming there isn't something else that would void the warranty).

I RMA'd my set for a cracked yellow head also, EA told me it's a common issue with the early sets.
