wishful thinking on DLC album?

So as a huge weezer fan maybe it's a bit of wishful thinking on my part, but what do you guys think about the possibility of the blue album as DLC? say it aint so is already in the game. my name is jonas is in the "other" game, but we've seen that tracks make it into both games. and that singstar game revealed buddy holly as a track.
seems to me weezer is video game friendly. im not sure how much of a challenge weezer songs are to play, but i think only in dreams would be damn fun, but long, to play.

**edit** it's 10 days later after i first posted this topic, and I just came across this. it's been on youtube since January, so it may be old to you folks, but this is the first i've ever seen it. and i must say i am stoked to see this album ported well to the game format, and if harmonix is reading, let's try to get the blue album on as DLC!

It could end up being a album download but i guess it's down to a few factors such as whether the band and the record label allow the album to be licensed and that the selection board think it's worth the time and money to do, i'm sure if there was enough demand by forum members they may go for it. who knows time will tell.

The Blue Album would be a great easyish album to download... Weezer are a great band and thats pretty much there best album.

well the trend so far is they've released the 2 albums both of which contained a song which were one of the first 4 released so I don't know if they are exactly going in the direction of most wanted.

I Can't Remember if Weezer's "Say It Ain't So" was one of those 4 released, if it was good chance we might see the Blue Album

I think it certainly is a possibility, especially with the way DLC albums have been picked so far. I think the blue album would be a good choice, Weezer is really great, I've just really started to get into them, I think their album as DLC would be a really good choice.

I actually would love to see all three of these as albums. Especially Pinkerton, it has some solid songs, like Pink Triangle and The Good Life

yes, i recall say it aint so as one of the original four tracks named in the game.
i never noticed that trend...if that theory is correct that means we could get more ozzy!
i believe the first four songs were say it aint so, wont get fooled again, in bloom, and... paranoid.

i love pink triangle. would be fun to sing out the word lesbian in a game. i liked the singles from pinkerton too, good life, why bother, and el scorcho. but while im a huge weezer fan, the blue album in my opinion is one of the few gems out there where you can play the whole CD and enjoy every single song. now it's so easy to throw together playlists with nothing but solid tunes, but remember the day when you bought an album for only a couple songs and the tracks in between just didn't cut it? the blue album was definitely a winner.

for me some of my favorite albums are pretty obscure so if i want any of them on this game it would have to be wishful thinking :(

i doubt we'll ever see an jazz fusion, ulver, or frank zappa album on a mainstream game :(:(:(

i never even knew 'only in dreams' had that much admiration since it wasnt even a mainstream single. but im glad it justifies my feeling that it would be a fun song to play even though it is a bit long.

i just found this (yes it is old, but like i said rock band has me finding all that is new to me), it is awesome...another justification that the blue album would fit the rhythm game format superbly!

also seems to mention that the custom weezer gh tracks author landed a gig to do the gh3 my name is jonas track because of this video. man now that i see the blue album in a game i know i must have it...............
