Well, here I go. I've actually been devising this setlist ever since the release of Guitar Hero I.
System Of A Down- Chop Suey or B.Y.O.B (It's probably they're most known songs)
Pink Floyd- Brain Damage
Jimi Hendrix (A must-have)- Have You Ever Been To Electric Ladyland?
Pantera- Walk
Led Zeppelin- Dazed and Confused
Black Sabbath- Ironman
Tupac Shakur ft. Nas- Thugz Mansion (Acoustic) (It'd be amazing to have an acoustic rap on this game, something different)
Linkin Park- In The End
Megadeth- 99 Ways To Die
The Ramones- Blitzkreig Bop
Lamb of God- Now You've Got Something To Die For.
I will add on to it later!

You fail. In fact, every song there except Led Zeppelin's is filled with epic fail. Even Hendrix can't save this list.

Well, thanks for the criticism

Rid it of Tupac, Linkin Park, and Pink Floyd.
I like the Ramones but that song is too simple even for a low tier song.

funny, said that same thing about my set list too, cept i had the same song in there and you didnt even notice it; that or your just hear to rain on everyones parade. and that seems very likely considering you dont really give reasons as to why they suck so bad, you just say things like "filled with epic fail".
as to the original set list, i as well would pull out the Linkin Park song, in large part because of how much it relies on keyboard and synth sound, which is not in RB (as far as we know)

Or I'm "hear" to make sure the **** stays away from a good game. There is a difference. I am not a contructive critic; nor do I claim to be. I am a critic of bad music, and I don't have to provide proof: Bad music is bad music.

if you make wild claims or state things as fact but give no logic or reasoning other than they are what you hold to be true, people will think your just full of yourself. going on your word alone would require some form of trust on your word to be accurate, and considering i dont know you, i cant trust you...
still wondering what makes dazed and confused good on this last and bad on mine....

You know what would be great for this game? Bat Out Of Hell - Meatloaf.

Okay, let's put it like this: Putting Green Day or Blink 182 in Rock Band would be like putting Britney Spears in. All three are pop, and even if the former have guitars, they're still pop. Pop is never advanced enough to matter, therefore it's illogical to include them but not some hard ass songs.
The only pop I've bothered to think was "advanced enough" is some Sum 41. Not Fat Lip, that one's easy... tracks from their 2004 album were advanced in terms of solos, guitar riffs, drum lines, etc. etc. That's an example of good pop. Metallica's Enter Sandman isn't; it's basic.
Note that I am just using examples here. ;)

Whatever. I don't even consider Pop a genre, since it means, ya know, Popular. If everyone started listening to Doom Metal that would become Pop to me.

i understand the examples as well as where your coming from: the songs need to fit the focus of the game, but either the examples given are bad ones, because the bands that you listed and the bands that were given in the setlist, are worlds apart, or you need to reestablish your views of what is "Pop".
and i can understand to a point that the instrumentals has some to do with wether its Pop music, but also need to consider tone, tempo, all the different things. cause there are some really easy Metal Songs, like Mother by Danzig.

I would get rid of the pink floyd but change the song to something like Young Lust, something that sounds more like hard rock.
