Being a bass player myself, something I would like to see in RockBand is music that puts bass players to the test ("Rush" is a good start), songs that actually are lead bass. I would love to play songs from "PRIMUS" maybe something like:
"Tommy the Cat" or "Jerry was a race car driver".
I don't actually know the limitations for using the guitar controller, but I read that you can actually pull of tapping techniques, which was mostly the style that Les Claypool use to play on his custom six string bass. I'll just leave it to the good people at Harmonix to work it out.
Also if you like to play drums, any song from Primus would give any experienced drummer a serious run for their money.
Anyway, all I'm trying to say is that don't forget us bass players.
Rock on!!!!!!!!

I'd really like to see more bass in both games, and if they could get someone to play the correct bass lines that would aslo be a really good start.
I dont know what the **** that dude was playing during Hangar 18, but it isnt anything David Ellefson played on Rust in Peace. more like a constant, never ending riff on a loop when in actuallity the bass line for Hangar 18 is ******edly complicated.

Yea I actually have a pretty good feeling Primus or Les Claypool by himself will be in RB.
("Rush" is a good start) for bass AND drums.
