Playing Guitar with only 3 Fingers

Hey, just wondering if there is anyone else out there that plays Guitar/Bass with only 3 fingers (Pointer, Middle, Ring)? I hope I'm not the only one =). I don't play this style to show off, it's the only way I know how to play. My pinky can't move fast and properly so I learned to play around it. I can beat the Expert career on both Rock Band and Guitar Hero 3 on Guitar. I hope to post a video once I get my camera working again.

I do it to practice, but that's about it. it's a good way to get you used to moving your hand. I find i can play through medium in GHIII with one finger, it's fun, though painful to hit chords

This is something I used to do when playing GH. I used this as a method to increase the speed at which I could shift my hand to hit the orange or blue buttons. I don't much use it anymore, usually just on GH when I'm playing insane songs like Jordan or TTFaF.

Yeah I've always only played with 3 fingers, ever since i got GH 1. I screwed up my pinky back in High School and never got it checked out, now its kinda bent and i just can't move it properly.

I only just started my guitar career last week but I'm almost done and there isnt a song on expert I have failed yet. And I can finish all songs on GH3 on expert cept Raining Blood.

3-finger user here....cept for solo's on the tougher songs, then I use both hands on the strat solo buttons...but yeah its just the way I got used to playing in GH I and it kinda carried over all the games...I tried doin 4 fingers but I just prefer the 3 :)...flirtin with disaster and ggaht are killing me on hard though :/

I used to have the same issue with my pinky, and then I got one of these:

and it really helped get my pinky working. It also helped with my finger speed and general finger dexterity.

They sell them at Dick's and other sporting goods stores.

Wanna prove your l33t-ness? Play GH with your middle and pinky only, on Expert. Yeah, you can do it, because I did. The only chord you can't hit is G-Y-O chords; everything else you can bend your fingers to hit. The G-Y-O's are rare and few, and when they appear, I hereby give you permission to use your other hand to hit one of the three buttons.
