In each tier you have one that I love, and one that I hate. How strange.

Not a prog fan eh? To each his own right? I just named songs songs actually I didn't really put them in any order or anything. I'll expand on it later with some more feed back.

Well he is from Dream Theater and THEY are Prog :p lol

I classify prog as being like crazy solo kinda stuff, improv almost...I'm probably wrong.

Dream Theater
Pain of Salvation
Porcupine Tree (Some albums)
Fates Warning
John Petrucci
Joe Satriani
Spock's Beard

etc

yeah you're wrong. its not so much about "crazy solos" as it is about instrumental passages whether they be long or not. the only band that is actually prog on that list is PT and they're a damn good band

most tr00 prog dont' have "crazy solos" like these "virtuoso" fagzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I beg to differ, but thats alright, we all have our opinions. Crazy solos I think are a part of prog and imrov sounding.

What do you think I should change on this setlist to be better suiting then?

Are you serious about the Black Eyed Peas? Come on. Seether has better songs for RB than Broken. Broken is way too slow. I suggest Needles. Another 3 Doors Down song would be nice. Kryptonite is waaayyy too mainstream for my taste, maybe Duck and Run would be better.

I love the list, I'd like to see a slipknot song, just to see if they can contain anything by Joey in this game

Thanks for the suggestions, first person :)

I was half serious about Black Eyed Peas......I think they are a good band but only slightly fit into the RB scene because of the "rapping" nature of most of their songs. I felt that 'Pump it!' on their Monkey Business album, was like 'mirslou' and would be challenging for the gtar once again. (I think pump it! is a 'mirslou' cover)

I agree with Seether having better songs and 'needles' would be good, I only said 'broken' because it IS "mainstream." Mainstream isn't always bad, and it always helps to sell a game such as this if the tracklist is well known to the consumer. I think their whole album Disclaimer II would be an awesome DLC choice, I love most of the songs on it.....

'Kryptonite' I also chose for the same reason.....'Duck and Cover' is another good choice. I would also think 'Sarah Yellin' or 'Not Enough' would work well also

I'll update the list to reflect these choices.
More input is always welcome.

40. Under Pressure - Queen/David Bowie

I think I'm in love. If I had to pick a single Bowie song it would definitely be Ziggy Stardust, I really would like some Coheed, and Needles/Fine Again are two of my favorite Seether songs, The Fantasy is by FAR the best 30 Seconds to Mars song IMO, and UNDER PRESSURE...why didn't I think of that?

Although I would change 3 doors down back to Kryptonite, but that song has a special place in my heart.
