I know it's not rock but I think Scat Man would probably be really hard for vocals.

scat man rules, and would be impossible on vocals but the chances of it being in Rock Band are next to none.

REM - It's the End of the World As We Know it for Vocals.

The hardest for drums would either be Burn (Deep Purple) or the YYZ master track (rush)
The hardest for Guitar would be Thunderstruck (AC/DC)
The hardest for vocals would either be Don't Stop Believin' (Journey) or Keep on Lovin' You (REO Speedwagon). You need some SERIOUS chops to sing those songs right.

I'd love to see both of your vocal choices in the game (I enjoy singing them actually), but More Than a Feeling (yes, I know it was in GHI) is more demanding than either. Lots of other BOSTON songs would fill the bill on that one for that matter (there are a few fun notes in Rock N Roll Band, for instance, and pitch control is key on Foreplay/Long Time). Brad Delp is just in a league of his own, and never took a singing lesson - wild!
I think for vocals, timing and pitch control will be the keys to killer scores, especially timing on the higher levels.

lol thunderstruck is easy on guitar
it's honestly a hell of alot easier than it sounds. the intro is just repeating 0-4-0-7 and 0-5-0-7 over and over on the 1st string

I'd have to say
Guitar: dragonforce - through the fire and the flames
Drums:
Led Zepplin- Achillies last stand or moby dick
Bass: maybe not most challenging but very defined, anything by Flea, RHCP
Vocals: even tho its not that hard i really like don't stop believin' but hmm i'd have to say, for rangewise, Hey Jude, its repetitive yes, but the high pitched scream right be for the repeating na's is very high and hard to hit, also any Queen song is pretty challenging for males

This is grossly inappropriate but probably one of the most difficult vocals I can think of is Crocodile Rock by Elton John.

Anything by Queen would be the hardest vocals. No one can compare with Freddie Mercury.

Great Gig In The Sky by Pink Floyd would be a bugger for vocals.

Vocals:
Rush
Queens of the Stone Age
Weezer
Gee-tar:
Classic rock bands that are actually good.
Bass:
Primus
Rush
(Short, but they are le pwnage.)
Drums:
I honestly don't pay too much attention to drums. Please don't kill me, murder is illegal in most countries.

Ok, listen up.
The song:
The Divine Wings Of Tradgedy
The Band:
Symphony X
20 minutes long. Every instrument is ridiculously hard. The vocalist is amazing.
Beating this on expert would be hilarious.
