How big will the damn box be for the Rock Band bundle?
Seriously. A 3/4 size Fender Stratocaster, a drumset, and a microphone, and the game. I hope the box isn't that big. I want to be able to fit it in the trunk of my car!

The box is going to be quite large, if they all come in one box. It is possible that each instrument will come in it's own box, and you can just buy them in a bundle together, which would decrease the size of it, but would mean you have more things to carry.
If the bundle does come in one big box though, it's going to have to fit a decent size drum set and a big guitar, a mic and the game, I don't think it will fit in your car trunk, although the drums will be able to fold up, so I'm not too sure. I have a feeling Harmonix will try and make the game as travel friendly as possible.

It will be the size of two guitar hero boxes, considering the drums require assembly.
It won't be too large, considering the mic and game will fit in the spaces left in to box, just like the gh ones. The drums are a little thicker but overall it wont be too bad.

That would fit okay in the back seat. Thanks!

Ya know, from the way these companies package their products i wouldn't be surprised if the whole bundle fit in a shoebox. Seriously, when i took my first entertainment center out of the box, before i realized they gave me the wrong one, I had it all out and ready to be assembled when i looked at the manual and said, yah...crap. It took me like an hour and a half to squeeze that thing back in the box, and I just scrapped about 1/3 of the packaging worth of styrafoam. There were styrafoam wedges, flat pieces, thin long pieces, no way were those all getting back in that box.
Anywho, i figure maybe like 1yd x 1.5ft x 1.5ft. I have no clue, just a guess.

I think they'll want to keep packaging as close to the same size as GH and similar stuff as possible. So the guitar and drum kit boxes will probably be as similar is size as they can be to GH box (maybe thicker) and the mic plus game will probably be package like karaoke revolution or singstar. The bundle will probably look like 2-3 GH boxes stacked on top of each other much like how Eman described it.

I could imagine it being much bigger. Here is my reason:
1. The Fender is now 2/3 (I think, correct me if I'm wrong) scale of a real Strat. The Gibson was 1/2 scale for the Guitar Hero games.
2. The heads of the drums are, by themselves, probably about 1/4 larger than the Strat. Plus all the accessories to hold the drums together. Here's just a crappy diagram I made up really fast (sorry for the crudeness of it):

All-in-all. I think it'll be bigger than 2 GH boxes put together.

Don't worry about the BOX size. I doubt all of it will come in one box anyway. But if the drums can be taken apart then size is no matter.

The drums can be taken apart, the top can even come off the stand and put on any surface (even your lap) and played. (thank you IGN interview)

You should all be mortified. The box will be so large, that it will ship with a Spanish Mule to help you carry it all home, and that's just for the drums + game bundle. The bundle with all the peripherals ships with a hippo.

The Strat is 3/4 scale. Consider yourself corrected.

I thoroughly agree. Wouldn't make sense to have anything all that much bigger than that. But, hey, if I have to rent out a flat-bed trailer to bring it all home, so be it.

I'll probably have to take this with me on a plane, so I'm hoping for as small as possible
