I need new drum sticks. I broke mine and bought a really cheap pair but I don't like them. What size/type of drum sticks should I be going for? I really like the length of the Rock Band sticks, and the weight. Basically I'm looking for something light and the same size as the RB sticks.
My current pair really hurts my hands :(

right above the red Add to Cart button hit the drop down menu and choose Wood 5A, those are basically the sticks that come with rock band. or you can just go to your local music store and pick some up, make sure they are 5A's tho because thats the right weight and length.
all those anti-vibes are supposed to do is make it vibrate less, but with the vic-firths that i showed you that i use, i feel no vibration at all.

I don't know where you live, but you should really find a music store that carries a selection of sticks and go feel them out. You'd be surprised with the great variety of sticks to be had, and may find a different size, weight, tip, etc. combination you like even better than the ones that came with the game.
Most shops will have a practice pad to try out the sticks before you buy them. I also think it is wise to get a couple pair of different sticks, and go ahead and buy them (one, you can really try them out at home better, and two you will always have a backup pair).
I am a drummer so I have a variety of sticks to suit different styles of play. For example, I use a much lighter weight stick for jazz than I do for rock. For Rock Band, I got a pair of Zildjian Session Master w/ nylon tips and I love them for the game. They are a bit meatier than the sticks that came with the game but I prefer that when I'm jamming out to Metallica or Kiss.
All in all it _is_ a personal preference and you should look at what all is out there.

I love the anti vibration sticks as well. Been using them since a few days after launch.
