Duh Me.....

Got the cheat code to unlock all songs. I'm not interested in points, just putz'in around with my kid's game. Cheat specifies that I'll disable saving feature if I use it.....is this a permanent change to saving, or just until I turn off the game? Don't want to ruin my kid's game is all.....any help would be appreciated.

Just turn off the game and everything will be back to normal :)

I think it disables saving until you turn the console off. Then when you turn it back on you only have the songs that you unlocked by playing BWT.

The easiest way to unlock all the songs permenantly is to go through the solo tour on Medium on any instrument. Don't forget about the bonus tour!

Gee Dave thanks for the lunchtime coronary!! LOL!! Seriously, thanks for the info....as for going through the solo tour on medium.....I couldn't play "Mary had a Little Lamb" on medium. *sigh* I've got a Hendrix heart, but I'm all thumbs. Still lovin' it though! :)

The only problem with the unlock all songs cheat is you have to do it every time you play, and you never really get that sense of pride for beating things, since it doesn't save.

Making your own character is fun, and a small but significant part of the game, and beating a solo career gives you a sense of accomplishment and pride, when you can say, "Look what I did!" and show your friends/family/whoever.

Plus using your own character won't affect anyone elses saved game at all :)

Dude, I definately hear ya on this one. I've managed to get 100% on Mississippi Queen(Easy level)...once. I just about did a handstand in the livingroom. How lame is that? LOL....here's the problem....a lack of time. I'm a single parent that gets to play on rare occasions. I'm not a fan of game cheats, and won't let the little one use them (yes I know I'm being a hypocrite in this case). I do intend to go it on my own skill once I'm more comfy with it....and get over the aching hand cramps. For now however I'm totally bored with the same songs.

Just had a thought on this. I wonder if you've considered singing? For medium, you don't have to me very good. In fact, even though I had never heard most of the songs, I managed to fake my way through them on medium. My thought is you might be able to fake it enough to unlock all the songs.

Mind you, I haven't sung all the songs, so there's the possibility that there's some songs on medium that are too hard to fake your way through, but I kind of doubt it.

Just a thought. I understand the time issue.
