That's probably true. You'd think it would have different stuff on the side of the box, like the features, or pictures of the peripherals, a couple song names, etc.

That might appear to be the case at first glance, but if you look at the drummer, his position is different from one side to the other. The logo covers more of the drum setup up in one shot than the other. So it would have to be a pretty elaborate photoshop effort.

The link to Gamestop works fine for me, so it's at least a real box art look. That doesn't mean it's final, but it's certain with merit at this point.

No sir. You are wrong. Its the exact same image. It only looks different because it has been skewed. Kind of like the images that are skewed but when you look at them from a different angle, they turn out to be words or images. Its the same....

I don't think the box will end up being that thick. Take a guitar hero box, add the thickness of the drums (not the stand, just the drums) and there you go. Everything will probably bre squeezed into their somehow. I suppose it's pretty darn close though

According to this link, this box is for the PS3 if you look up the 360 there's nothing, so it kinda makes you wonder if this will be the final art design. Normally the artwork is the same for both systems right? but with each's respective logos. Or do you think they will have separate art designs?

But if this is the final one for PS3, looks great to me!!

You're right in that it's the same background image. I realize that. But the front box is not identical looking to the side box. Period. The logos are covering up completely different parts of the background picture. You can even see the singer's lower arm in one and not the other. So someone did not just take the box and re-size and angle it. No matter what skew you do, there's no skew that's going to stretch the logo to cover up a singer's arm. For what you suggested was done, one had to skew the picture as a whole, not individual parts of it like was done here.

If it's a photoshop, they painstakingly used the original background image and angled and sized it down. Then they had to alter the logo for each side individually for it to come out that way. No matter how you look at it, the front of the box and the side are not the exact same complete image.

I don't know how GameStop's marketing is, but would they really just post some random photoshopped image they found somewhere, or make one themselves?

Stores do make their own covers etc until they get the official ones.. i believe this to be their own design of how the full bundle will be.. that box looks way to big you could fit a small child in that I dont think it will end up that big.. unless HMXSean or someone comes in and confirms it then i'll would have to hire a fork lift to get it home lol
