I hope this hasn't been posted yet. There is an interview with Rockband Lead Designer Rob Kay online at Play.tm (http://play.tm/story/12260).
It reveals nothing new but it's still a nice read.

My two favorite lines in interviews with Harmonix:
(Talking about the online portion)without going into too much detail let me tell you that we feel we've found a great solution for the problem.
(Talking about pricing)No firm calls have been made on pricing yet.

That interview sucked, they asked stupid questions that has nothing to do with his role as Lead Designer. I love the design of the game, it would've been awesome if they went into more detail about the processes of it all.

The bit about the singing was kinda sorta new. I was always under the impression that the singing portion would judge pitch, timing, and use phenom detection at all times. Now it sounds like it switches back and forth from pitch and timing to phenom detection. Gues they've probably had to tweak it to get it to work right, might have been causing a lot of people to fail too often or something.

Yea, Drums for that song sound amazing, I relaly want to play them, it's going to be so much fun.
As for those with pricing concerns and online concerns, relax, and be patient, all will come in good time.

He does state in the interview that ALL multiplayer modes will be incorporated online, I don't think that was confirmed before.

"Completing this song at expert difficulty last week gave me more pleasure than is probably legal..."
Hahahaha. Hah. Hah. Hah.
I don't know why, but that seemed a lot funnier than it should have.
Thanks for posting the link.
