Fine song, classic in its own right - but "Sultans of Swing" would be FAR better.

The reason I think it would be perfect is because it starts out with the drum solo then right into the guitar, perfect for this combo. Everytime I hear it I think about that. Just like everytime now that I hear "Crazy on You" or "Freebird" I can help think about winging those songs out on Guitar Hero II.

The intro to Money for Nothing gives me chills everytime I hear it. Playing it would be awesome. Someone needs to negotiate this track getting into the game.

Money for Nothing would be one of the most fun songs to play yet released, particuarly for guitar and drums... I realy like Dire Straits, and would love to see a bunch of their stuff, including Money for Nothing....

I don't think, however, that this particular song will make it into the game unless it is an edited version due to the lyrics...

Wouldn't that be ironic given the fact that MTV cares little about who they offend. However, in this case, I would think that you are right and they probably wouldn't put the song in "as-is" because of that one lyric. What a weak excuse that would be for not putting this track into the playlist at all. "Number of the Beast" and other tracks they offer are found to be offensive to other demographics as well. Why are they not considered?

Besides, what has always been the mantra of MTV? "If you don't like what we broadcast, don't let your kids tune into us." So in that vein,...if people don't like that lyric,...er...don't download it. I am betting that it would be one of the most purchased DLC tracks to date though. The song was great in 84-85 and remains legendary to this day. Let the DLC money do the talking cuz this track is money in the bank if they ever released it (edited OR "as-is"). I vote put it in "as-is" but I will take it either way. I just want to play that guitar and drums.
