The meaning of the site is competitive. Its where you play for a record. If I were to challenge you to a 1v1, and win, then on my record, I would be 1-0 and you would be 0-1, thus making me have a win. Its like playing someone in a 1v1, and having a record of who you played, and if you won or not.
