I am the singer for our band, and i can almost all songs on expert at least 91-100% , but funny how I sing the impossible songs with ease and yet always trip up on some of the easier songs.

what "easier" songs throw you off and almost have you failing out?

One song was "I fought the law" .. I think the harmonies throw me off.. as apparent in sections like "sick, sick, sick"

what are some of your favorite songs to sing?
my current top 3 this week are:
"I'm so sick"
"Attack"
"Reptilia"

that dang cover version of Heroes. No one in our group can get it because of some of the changes that the cover artist made to the voice inflections. We're all pretty big Bowie fans and are used to the original version.

-Blink 182
-Oasis
because I can get all high and whiny easily

-Dont Fear The Reaper
because I've been singing along with it for 20 years.

As someone who doesn't sing often I like Dani California, Interstate Love Song, and Learn to Fly mostly because they are easy for me.

I enjoy Celebrity Skin and Suffragette City a lot. Dead On Arrival is surprisingly fun to sing also.

Tom Sawyer is good but, wow, worst Mindless Self Indulgence cover ever, amirite? Why'd they ruin it? :B

There are a bunch of songs that I need to sing in a higher than normal octave to get, but I can do Dani California, Flirtin' with disaster and green grass & high tides pretty easily in my lower 'normal' voice. I guess those are my favorites.

Flirtin With Disaster is my favorite to sing. I got the 12th highest score on it after singing it three times.

Hardest for me would be reptilia. I have a hard time matching his tone. It always sounds too flat compared to what the guitar is playing.

Oooo forgot about Electric Version. I heard this before Rock Band came out and wasn't impressed but that song is a JOY to sing.

1. Welcome Home. I had never heard of C&C before Rock Band, but this one's a good marathon workout for the voice; it's just UNRELENTING, with no breaks and only one choral repeat.

2. Tie: Brainpower & Timmy and Lords of the Underworld. I just like showing off my ability to 100% these online. :D (And Brainpower is a fun track. I wish the album version had the guitar work, it's just pure synth.)

3. The Oasis pack. Maybe it's just the 90s kid in me but these are fun and quite soothing to sing or play; I especially like doing singing+guitar on them.

Worst in show are probably Gimme Shelter, Reptillia, and New Pornographers... ugh. I just CANNOT hit the notes they want me to, either because it doesn't match what I'm hearing or it's some craptastic mumble-warble voice.

I think my favorite songs to sing right now are:

Action
My iron Lung
Moonage Daydream

To warm up the vocal cords for a session, just do "Attack".

HATE HATE HATE:

Gimme Shelter
Watned: Dead or Alive(sick of playing it online)
Siva (because it's not "Today"!!!!)

/my two cents

My Sharona - currently ranked 7th. I hate songs with 2 vocals at the same time (the end of Orange Crush).
