We do fully intend to support GH2 controller for the Xbox 360. That said, our Stratocaster guitars will have some awesome new features that don't exist on the GH2 X-plorer model.

I was also curious, and I apologize if someone else has asked it, but does anyone know if the PS3 version will be able to support the PS2 guitar controllers? I seriously doubt it because the PS3 is wireless, but there was some talk at one point about the possibility of adapters for PS2 peripherals. I know I am going to have to get a next-gen console to enjoy this game anyway, but I thought that, in the off-chance that I wouldn't have to spring for more guitars, I would lean toward the PS3.

there already is an adapter that supposedly works. Pelican makes it. Since it's a PS2-USB adapter, hypothetically it'd work with the 360 version as well

I does not work on 360 =/
I suppose it will work with the XFPS360 adapter (for keyboard + mouse and PS2 controllers). Never heard of anyone who actually tested though.

Any clues what those features might be?

Apologies, but I've only just got here, and as I'm going through I haven't found an answer. Perhaps I should look harder.
