Penny Arcade loves Harmonix, what else can I say.

I love the fact a form of media very much seen by gamers is on their side. Good stuff.

I can already see the quotes on the Rock Band box:

"10 out of 10!" - RBGM

"this game goes to 11!" - Bandpro

"Rock Band is going to leave our ******* in ruins" - Bob Activision

The blog entry (http://www.penny-arcade.com/2007/08/10) is even better.

" Activision simply bought it, as you or I would buy a jar of Miracle Whip. The difference is that you or I - upon buying said Miracle Whip - would not then claim to have invented mayonnaise, or that other people would have to work very hard to top our sandwich spreads."

Blog was sweet too! HAHA.

Much <3 for Penny Arcade. When they were a tiny comic site, they had big brass ones. Now that they're a powerful force for online comictude, they still have large brass ones, instead of rolling over and selling out.

Just bumping this to point out that according to the PAX interview, they actually got in trouble with Activision for this comic.

Akaymay
08-25-2007, 10:51 AM
How did they get in trouble? It's perfectly legal. It's just freedom of speech put to good use. It just shows how Activision is spreading lies to get people to get GHIII rather than Rock Band.
