Gonna be a lot of standing there doing nothing but hitting the mic. In Enter Sandman there is 2 and a half minutes of instrumental. I see people fighting over the guitar.

Blah somehow I posted this is the wrong forum can someone move it to US please.

I can stand there, but I hope that there will be some sort of tambourine instrument like Brad said. that way I can be doing something while waiting. Even if there isn't I'll hold out for that awesome "Now I lay me down to sleep" prayer!

I think it's going to be tough to find singers for this game

Ahh, you beat me to it. I was going to say "EAH" after every line, though. As in :

Sleep with one eye open-EAH
Grippin' your pillow tight-EAH

well, i don't plan on being the singer. but if i am, i'm sure i can entertain myself and any audience . watch any band, the singer doesn't just "stand" there on the instrumental.

harmonix, please get ozzy ozbourne "i don't wanna stop". i need a few mindless headbanging trash easy to play songs on the game.
thanks.

I will try the singing, and you can expect me to do some moves, jumps and all, so I think Ill make good use of the down time

I despise this "Tambourine Tapping" crap they keep talkin about... Might be fine for a song that actually had tambourine in it.. But in a Metallica song? Gimme a break.. I certainly hope it isn't the case.

My wife will be singing and only singing.. And she is a kickass singer.. So no, I don't think there will be shortage of singers. The Kareoke Revolution and Singstar fans will find there way to Rock Band also.

Well, singers will just get used to the "fun" of playing the tambourine!

AWESOME!

Um...you do realize not all of the songs will have you playing the tambourine specifically, right?

Screw tambourine.. I'd rather have a cowbell.

I'll tell ya what I realize.. That no one here has a clue at all about the vocal portion of the game except the devs.. But people and the devs themselves keep taling about how you are supposed interact with a mic when their aren't any lyrics. Point is what all else can they do and are they thinking that singers NEED to do something other than wait while solos and the like are going down. If not a Tambourine whatelse.. A triangle Ed Grimly Style? Cowbell Ala Will Ferell? Moraccas(sp?)

I just don't see why a singer can't sing when he is supposed and not sing when he isn't.
