Are we forgetting this is an initial run of the game?

I read so many posts where people complain about how this game SHOULD BE and why wasn't this considered, blah blah blah.

I feel like people are forgetting this is the first game of its kind. Yes there was GH, but this game incorporates 3 new instruments. (if you consider the mic an instrument.) and I don't know about you, but if I was making a game of this magnitude, you can't think of EVERY eventuality

of course there are going to be things we don't like. We can't have a perfect game the first time out- otherwise why would we buy version 2?

I agree. This is new territory, although i do think HMX is doing an excellent job with it. Everything will have its flaws, along with its noobs who don't understand the concepts of anything but criticizing.

I can totally empathize with you. This game has been a breakthrough and I think it's a work in progress, because there's rumor of a Rock Band 2 in the works. If that's the case, the possibility of "this should be in it" could very well be!!

Every game has it's flaws, I am sure if they come out with the second version we will probably see a lot more in the game. But first run of any series always has it's downsides.

It is an initial run, but it doesn't give it a free ride of it's problems. The Pros far outweigh the Cons for sure, but there's no harm in pointing out areas of improvement as long as it's done civilly. Problem is... it's usually not done that way.
