When your star power is full, you have to pick up the drum peripheral and turn it horizontally, right?
Wrong. Is there even a form of star power in RB? If so, how will a drummer activate his? Guess? Facts? Throw it here.

I believe it does it automatically at certain points if you play well.

lol, I think that fills are like star power for the drums. I could do without star power if RB doesn't have it though.

Assuming the Start button and Guide button are reserved, I see Select, the D-pad, A, B, X and Y. 9 buttons up for grabs.

I thought I heard somewhere that at the end of the fills there were green note things, and you hit those to activate it. But I can't seem to find it anywhere, so maybe I'm just insane.
WHO KNOWS.

Dear Everyone,
Forgive me for what I'm about to say.
Screw the drummer, what will the singer do?
Okay, I take it back, drummer is definitely more important, but still. I'd like to know what the singer would do.

When the drummer has enough star power, he gets freestyle sections every few measures with a green crash note at the end. When you hit the crash note you activate star power.
When singers have enough star power, they get freeform sections on their bar that are indicated by a big green box. If they scream something during this, they activate star power.

Thats a really good question how will Drums activate Star Power , My guess would Be a Combination of the Drums and Pedal Activate Star Power Somehow.

I would like the star power activation for the drums and the mic to be a button, instead of having to use it at a set time. Having it at a set time during the song is a bad idea, considering the only reason people use it is when they know an easy part is coming up, are about to fail, or have 4x multiplier already... Basically, when they need it. Star power is used when needed, so having to hit the right button during a song to activate it is a dumb idea.
The only problem, I don't think the mic has buttons, and I think people would ***** if the buttons had to be pushed while playing drums. I wouldn't though.

You could tap the mic on the part where you speak into, kinda the way it will be used as a cowbell or a tambourine.

But what if a tambourine part comes up and you don't want to use star power? Then we're screwed

I think the singer just has to say "Star Power" and Walla

I'm not sure if there will even BE star power. Hear me out for a second. I think instead of Star Power, they have this "Unison Phase" Where everyone just does some crazy move in unison. Most likely to get the crowd to go wild. So far, what I make of it from the many videos I've seen, it works like this:
Every once in a while, when everyone has 4x multiplier (Bass has 6x), a message will pop-up for unison mode. And if everyone keeps their max multiplier going, they release the Unison Phase. Thus results in the crowd going insane, making your multiplier going even higher.
A unison phrase is a way to get star power, it's basically a star power segment that everybody has to hit or else you lose it.
You activate the instruments like I said up above.

Oh, heh, damn, too late. I deleted the post because I saw your post on the Star power and it made a ton of sense...

I like the way that sounds. Unison mode. Gots a nice ring to it.

For the Mic Star Power, they could have a button near where you hold it to activate it... although i know it won't happen, i was just throwing it out there...

Drum and Mic star power are similar. There are fill sections, the drums is indicated by long lines of color, the vocals is a big green bar. Each of which you get to play or sing whatever you want respectively, this will activate "star power", the drums ends with a green note (the crash I believe) which initiates the power. Singers starts right as you start saying things druing that fill section.

From the way it sounds, the only way you can fail to activate this feature as a singer / drummer would be
for singer : Say nothing during the green bar.
for drummer : Hit nothing, and don't end on crash.
There's got to be more to it than this.

As for the singers, the green bar appears during every small singing break, so you have plenty of opportunities to use it.
As for the drums, I don't even think you need to hit anything during the freeform section, just hit the crash. If you didn't want to activate it, you can still do the freeform part, and just ignore the crash gem.
