Rumor is its "ready" but Axl Rose is holding out for more money...

Axl has claimed it's ready so many times it's ridiculous! The man is a complete loon and has surrounded himself with sycophants. It wont see the light of the day until he's dead IMO.

Not saying I wouldnt like to finally hear the finished product but I just doubt it will ever see the light of day. Mostly I'd be curious to hear how different the finished versions of the 10 or 11 songs leaked are and if Brian May's guitar work is still on it.

Well, I listened to a bootleg copy and it is not a very good recording of songs that are not very good... so I could care less if it ever comes out. I much prefer the Velvet Revolver stuff...

Brain May was laying guitar work down for this album?! Anyways, I thought I heard the single on the radio while I was on a road trip. It sounded alright, not great. I may be wrong.

Yep. May did it as a favor to Axl as he is such a huge Queen fan. If memory serves May played lead on Catcher In The rye.

I know Josh Freeze did some drum tracks, but that was eons ago. Couldn't care less if it gets released and frankly, I think the band has a better chance of getting a real reunion together than this POS album coming out.
