Four singers singing along as a quartet? Like... old school barbershop style? You could then have songs from say... the Beach Boys or other bands that rely on several singers to carry the melody.

This game has a ton of potential, and something random like being able to have four singers singing along together barbershop style would be pretty cool - even though I'm not into that type of thing, it would be VERY fun for karaoke things, or just a good change of pace from all the Rock.

Thoughts, questions, comments?

why the hell would you want the beach boys anyway.

I think the game is called ROCK Band, correct?
So why would we wanna drift away from that and turn this into a karaoke game?
That's just my two cents...

You'd have to understand my sense of humor. But, regardless of what you think of this idea, you have to agree that something like this could be feasible with the kind of potential this game has.

By no means am I no singer, but having watched a couple of E3 videos (that 40 minute E3 Rock Band video especially) I noticed that everyone seems to be singing along regardless of what instrument they are holding, so why not toy with the idea of having songs that make use of vocal harmonies and melodies to carry the song?

If nothing else, Bohemian Rhapsody is an example of what you could do with multiple singers (yes, I realize that the vocals are just layered, but for the sake of argument).
