Character names.

Why are we not able to put the same name for two characters that play different instruments?

I mean, why could a band not have a drummer who's name is Sean, and a guitarist who's name is Sean.

I am just wondering why they stop you from doing this, because I would like each character I have on my instruments to be able to have my name. Right now I am settling with Sean, Sean!, Sean!!, and Sean!!! haha.

It just doesn't work with the same name different instruments. I asked this ? too and got the answer I gave you.

I just put Nick for my guitarist and Nick M for my drummer. If i want to make myself a singer i'd put my full first name

I wonder this too!! As well, why can't ONE character be able to play all the instruments. I make a sweet character. And then I want her to play another instrument. Oh noes, I can't. I have to make an entire new character, with a different name. I have too many characters now.

it is possible, so long as they're on different profiles.
I'm talking about the 360 version here, I don't know about the others. In our band the singer/bassist take turns, so they made identicle characters for both instruments... but its less trouble to just switch characters than to switch profiles as well, so there's a Rio and a Morgan on both profiles, no name differences.
