This is word for word from today's paper in Section D.

'Guitar Hero III' hit by Poisoned art

Poison frontman Bret Michaels has another new gig, in addition to VH1 realiy show Rock of Love. He will be a character in the upcoming Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (due in Oct for Xbox 360, Wii and Playstation) An animated Michaels sings on the Poison track "Talk Dirty to Me" and "Go That Far" from the Bret Michaels Band.

That is the dumbest think I think that they could of done. He is so stupid and washed up. I guess the only thing to do is 5 star it the first time you play it so you don't have to go back to it. :mad:

Bret Michaels in Guitar Hero?! HAHA Thats a shame. I thought all the famous people they put in it were going to be Guitar Legends? Unless he is in there for something else maybe? They definately should have picked someone better than him. I mean how can anyone take this seriously, especailly when he is doing a dating reality show?!

He most likely isn't a boss battle right? So does this mean that in Guitar Hero III they are going to try and put in as many real people from the band as they can? Instead of always having the few no name backup band characters that they normally have?

I can guarantee he is a boss battle.

your character is playing guiatr as normal, he is just prancing around on stage.

now that would be a LAME boss battle, but almost certainly thats what they would do with him.

It's probably the Ripper.

I hope the last real guitarist is Billy Corgan. I know he's not really a "legend," but IMO, he's the perfect villian. Name a game/movie that wouldn't be better with Billy Corgan replacing the main villian.

lol ya i'm actually quite surprised that people just assumed he was gonna be a boss battle when the op clearly stated he's just gonna be the singer instead of that guy with the shades and the long sleeve shirt

And it never said he isn't a boss. He may be a boss of a different type unlike Battle Mode with Slash. Like hitting a certain score/rating (this is a legend after all..whooo).

From a source like this do you expect all the complete info? I'm waiting for Neversofts take.

Exactly the point, he SINGS. It's not a guitar battle if he doesn't play guitar. It's called a boss battle because you go against a boss utilizing the new battle mode, Battle mode will not work unless the opposing boss plays guitar, completely destroying the possibility of him being a boss. And on top of all this, Activision even said there are three boss battles, one of them being slash, there are 2 other bosses in the game. It's three bosses, three boss battles, not two bosses, three boss battles
